You need to get the heat pump sizing correct or you will find that your unit won't deliver the result you want and will cost you more money in power, as it may be too small to do the job needed.

Heat pump/air conditioning grants available - Up to 80% of the cost of an approved heating/cooling device installed in your home. This could be a heat pump or an efficient wood/pellet burner for the main living area. Heating/cooling grants are capped at $3000 including GST.

Checklist for a heating/cooling grant:

• You own and live in a home build before 2008.
• You (the owner) have a community services card or live in an area identified as low income.
• You have a ceiling and underfloor insulation installed to EECA standards. If your home has been insulated through a Government insulation programme, we'll confirm it when you apply for a heater grant. Otherwise an EECA insulation provider will do a quick check - at no cost to you! We can do this too!
• Your home doesn't already have one of the following fixed heaters that is operational in any living area of the house: heat pump, wood or pellet burner, flued gas heater or central heating system. If your home has one of these heater types, it is not eligible for a heating grant.

Usually your Fujitsu warranty would cover 5 years however, seeing as we are accredited installers, the warranty covers 6 years instead.

• Batteries replaced if needed
